Easter in Kamloops

Easter in Kamloops this year was warm and sunny and we were very happy to get away from the snow in Red Deer and enjoy being outside without coats on! The girls were pretty much outside playing the whole time we were at Grandma and Grandpa Bey's this past weekend.
On Saturday night we went and checked out Great-Grandma Illsey's new place and had dinner with her there.

On Sunday morning we went to Great-Grandma Illsey's church for the service and then stayed afterwards for an Easter lunch! After a few chocolate eggs and some cookies the girls were having TONS of fun playing on the church's stage.

We managed to get a few pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses at Grandma and Grandpa's house after lunch but by then Anaya had fallen in the dirt about 3 or 4 times. A tradition which she continued with for the remainder of the day. Needless to say her Easter dress is now a play dress and the tights are in the garbage:)

The much-anticipated "egg party" as Tegan called it all weekend, happened on Sunday afternoon. The Easter bunny hid all the eggs in the backyard and Tegan and Anaya got their baskets and had a great time collecting them all.

Sometimes the Easter bunny can hide an egg right under your nose and you still can't see it for looking!!

Tell the girls to stop growing! I can't believe how grown up they both look... it's been too long since I've seen them! Looks like you guys had a great time - wish some of that weather would come our way!
love,mel :)
