Checking out the neighbourhood

We've been trying to get in a few bike/scooter rides while the weather is nice (as I write this it is -2 and snowing outside again) The last few days have been sunny and warm and the girls are loving exploring the walking paths around our neighbourhood. We get a pretty sweet view of the mountains, canada olympic park and even downtown Calgary from the walking paths so it's an enjoyable walk. I like seeing other people's backyards too, get ideas from their landscaping:) We don't get very far on our walks as Tegan and Anaya have to stop every couple of feet to explore something in the grass. Tegan actually spent a lot of time picking "wheat" so she could make bread when we got home. Apparently she remembers camping in Moose Jaw a couple of years ago when Grandma Willms told her to put the "wheat" under a napkin and it would bake into bread. Too funny.
