Visit from Grandpa and Grandma Willms!

My parents came out and visited us this past week for a few days on their way home from Saskatchewan. We did some shopping, watched some hockey, went for some walks and we went to our church's kids carnival on Friday night! Very noisy but lots of fun for the girls. I think that us adults were just valiantly trying to get through it, everyone was a little tired by that point...but the girls had a blast playing the different games and getting candies and balloons:)



On Saturday morning we were all on a video call with James in Thailand when the girls thought it would be a good idea to go downstairs and make breakfast for everybody...we came down to all sorts of juices, jams and yoghurts on the table and they'd even taken it upon themselves to rip a few slices of raisin bread in half and smear them with some butter...interesting...so we enjoyed that while watching it snow like crazy outside! This same snow caused my parents to return to our house less than an hour after they left because there'd been an accident on the highway and the cars weren't moving! Luckily it didn't take too long to clear up and they were on their way by early afternoon:)



The girls used that same snow to enjoy a day outside and Tegan was very proud of the giant snowball she made!
