Family Day weekend in Banff

For the family day weekend we booked a couple of nights out in Banff at the Douglas Fir Resort...it was so great...they had a giant 2-story indoor playplace for the kids to use as well as a pool, waterslides and hot tub so there were tons of things to keep us busy. Plus, our room had a full kitchen so we made all of our meals right in our room! Really enjoyed that, just being lazy and not having to go anywhere outside of the hotel. Watched a lot of olympics in between pool and play times. We did venture out one afternoon to walk around downtown a bit and then go to the hot springs. A really good weekend and a nice way to spend the last few days before Scott starts his new job at TD tomorrow!
