Yesterday, we went to Westerner Days here in Red Deer (mini version of the Calgary Stampede, also a lot cheaper). We pet goats and chickens and kittens and puppies and saw cows and horses and pigs. Tegan was a little timid about actually touching the animals but Anaya was right in there stepping over animals and grabbing the goats by the mouth and pulling the chickens feathers. No fear at all...
We also watched a dog herd some sheep and saw a reptile show where there were crocodiles and snakes...
A family gave us some free ride tickets on their way out so we went on the carousel and got really dizzy...
Then daddy took both girls down the slide...
We ate corn dogs and mini donuts and had a lot of fun together!

Woohoo!!!! So glad you went - looks like you had awesome weather too! Maybe one year we'll have to come out and join you. I don't think I'm brave enough to do the Stampede.
