June fun

Tegan had her end of the year gymnastics performance on Wednesday. She was pretty nervous to do it in front of all the parents but after a brief bout of tears she ended up enjoying herself quite a bit! At the end they all got to take turns standing on a podium and receive a ribbon and gold medal:



Tegan and Scott went on a "Daddy/daughter date night" on Wednesday night at the Holiday Inn, run by the Parks and Rec of Red Deer. They had an absolute blast!! Apparently Tegan's favourite thing to do was dance with daddy but there was also games to play and refreshments...



As a door prize, Tegan won a Hannah Montana umbrella which she was very excited about, even though she has no idea who that is:) And as you can see, she REALLY enjoyed the jello punch they had for a drink...



Last night was Tegan's end of the year preschool picnic. They had fun playing in the playground, playing with the parachute, going on an obstacle course and then seeing "roscoe" the clown.



Unfortunately, both girls have come down with a cold and because they'd had such a busy week this week with so many late nights we only saw "Roscoe" for a few minutes before we decided to just take the girls home and get them to bed. Too much fun for one week I suppose!!
