Our first campout of the year was at Calaway Park, just outside of town. We went to celebrate the end of school and Scott's birthday:) It was a really great time! The first night the girls were all excited to play soccer in the field behind our trailer, especially because they got to wear their nighties while doing so:) On Saturday we went to Calaway Amusement Park for the day and tried all the rides, saw some shows etc. Tegan was the biggest daredevil of all of us and loved every single ride and was sad she wasn't tall enough to go on the rollercoaster! Anaya and I were a bit more tame and preferred the little kiddie rides.
We watched an outdoor show called "Diva Girls" and Scott got roped into being on stage through one of the songs, pretty funny, he was a good sport about it:) The girls were enthralled because of the pretty pink costumes and the fact that the girls sang a couple of Hannah Montana songs. Good grief. Tegan was convinced that these girls were actually "friends" with Hannah Montana. Crazy. All in all a good start to the camping weekend.
